Swanee came to the attention of local and national press in 2009 when their song Baby Better Lady was included on the covermount for Classic Rock Magazine UK and US edition and touring with many high profile bands notably The Answer, UFO and Taste. They also made many appearances on BBC radio and TV (ATL, Electric Mainline, Mark Patterson Show). 2011 has seen the release of debut album ‘Smokin Jacket’, a headlne international festival in India, a European, UK and Irish tour, writing the sound track for Irish Film Board film ‘The Birth of Rock’ and numerous appearances in the local and natonal press!
