In 2010 this noisy little trio expanded to seven with the addition of Joe Mcquillan on bass and the Brassholes otherwise known as Jenny Putt(trumpet), james Doherty (trombone)and matt houston(Sax). AS OF 2011 with a years hard playing behind them the Dead Presidents have become one of the funkiest live bands out there; They have a groove that could fill any pocket, a vocal that belongs on a best of Motown compilation, alongside a guitar sound that borders on the spiritual. Last and by no means least is a brass section that would make the late James Brown ‘The Godfather of Soul’ sit bolt upright in his funeral casket.
